Blog Submissions FAQ (doubles as TOS)

1. Do you sell links?

No.

2. What do you sell?

A. Blog Review ($19.99) - We have found that if we do not charge for a blog review then we get slammed with spammy blogs. We charge $19.99 because it's a reasonable price to be reviewed for inclusion. It's high enough to keep spammers from wasting their money (because spam blogs will not be included) but it's low enough that most people with real blogs can afford it. But remember that paying for a blog review does not guarantee that your blog will be included in the directory. If you have a low quality blog it will not be included and you will not get your money back. No refunds. Why? Because you are not paying for a link, you are paying for a review. Payment for a blog review is a one time payment.

Also remember that we may very well *eventually* add your blog even if you do not pay for a blog review because we're always looking for new quality blogs to add to the directory. By paying for a blog review you are simply jumping to the front of the line.

B. Featured Status ($299.99) - A blog review plus featured status is $299.99 and of course you cannot have featured status without a blog review so your blog can be included in the first place. We list them seperately to help you to understand that choosing featured status is only to get your blog at the top of the listings and in front of the eyes of more visitors. Selection of this option does not guarantee inclusion of your blog in the directory. We do offer a partial refund of the featured status money if your blog is not accepted into the directory. We will send you $280 via PayPal if you choose the featured status and your blog is not accepted. That's the $299.99 minus the normal blog review price ($19.99) admin. costs. There are no refunds on blog reviews.

3. Why would I choose featured status?

More visability and more traffic to your website. There is a limit of only 7 featured status blogs per category. All featured status blogs will appear above the listings and will be seen by many more people than the regular listings.

Featured status is a one time payment, meaning featured status lasts forever unless of course your blog turns into a spam blog or some non blog website in which case your site will be deleted from the system. If this occurs there will be no refund.

4. What kind of blogs will you reject?

A. Spam blogs.
B. Blogs with only unoriginal content.
C. Made for AdSense blogs.
D. Blogs with extremely poor design.
E. Blogs with poor content.
F. Blogs less than 3 months old.

5. Will you accept blogspot blogs?

Yes. Although we do have a preference for blogs with their own domain, there are many quality blogs on blogspot and other free blog hosting platforms.

6. Will you change the category of my blog?

Possibly. We reserve the right to move your blog wherever we feel it fits best in the directory.

7. What kind of title/description should I use?

Please leave out promotional language. Make it descriptive. No keyword stuffing. A well written non spammy non promotional title/description will give your blog a much better chance of being selected. Do not spam the meta tags either, please.

8. Will you change the title/description of my blog?

Possibly. We reserve the right to change whatever we feel is necessary. If you use language like "The Greatest Blog Of All Time" then it's likely it will be changed.

9. What are the payment options?

Just PayPal for now. There's a chance other payment methods will be added in the future.

10. What if my blog turns into a spam blog or turns into some kind of non blog site, will it still be included in the blog directory?

No. As soon as we see that your blog is no longer what it used to be, it will be deleted from the directory.

11. Will you accept blogs on a subdomain or deep linked blogs?

Yes. We don't care where your blog is as long as it's a unique individual blog. We will accept multiple blogs from the same domain (such as blogspot.com for one obvious example) as long as the blogs all have different content.

12. Do you accept personal blogs that don't have a particular topic?

Yes. We have an uncategorizable section for blogs such as personal blogs that don't have a specific topic or do not fit into any other category well.

13. I don't see a category that fits my blog, should I still add it?

Yes. We may be adding more categories in the future if there's enough blogs submitted that fit well into a category not presently included. In the meantime we suggest submitting your blog to the most relevant category you can find, usually this will be a general/top category or the uncategorizable section.

14. How do I submit my blog to the right category?

fYou can either go to the submit your blog page from anywhere on the directory and find the correct category from the pulldown menu or you can browse to the correct category in the directory and then click on the submit your blog link from that category so that it will automatically be selected for you.

15. Will this blog directory be around for a long time?

Absolutely. We plan on being around as long as there is an internet! This domain is registered through the year 2017, which is the longest GoDaddy would let us renew it for!

16. Will your blog review prices change in the future?

Possibly. But it's likely if they do change they will be going up, rather than down.

17. Are there any other directories to submit my blog?
